I’m proud to say that my nephew, David Peters, will be turning 1 next week! Seems like just yesterday I was at the hospital on the day he was born. Now the question becomes, what do I get him as a gift? Since I want him to grow up loving soccer, I thought I’d get him a mini soccer ball to play with. I’m always open to suggestions though so please feel free to reply!
Well I spent all day yesterday at a Saint Patricks parade, needless to say that there was a lot of drinking going on. I am definitely feeling the effects of lack of sleep today and probably into tomorrow.
My friends and I took the train into the city early on in the morning, and were one of the first people in the local pub. We must have visited a dozen pubs before leaving for home. We did sleep on the train ride home a bit, but the sleep effects of that were rather minimal.
All I want to do right now is listen to my new Push Play cd and call it a day.
So I was out in Allentown PA this past weekend visiting a friends, and we decided to get tickets for the Push Play Band concert at Crocodile Rock. What an AMAZING show! I have a bunch of photos on my camera that I will have to upload on this site.
Well it’s a snowy day out there today and I am home from work. I really wanted to hit up the golf range today with my friend Lauren, but looks like the snow will keep us from doing that. I wanted to try out my new women’s golf club set that my husband bought me for my birthday last week. Maybe next week will yield better weather to that!
Well I’m not feeling all that well today, a friend of mine was recently in a car accident in Boston MA. Some drunk driving hit my friend from behind in his automobile, causing some serious injury.
We’ve been spending most of the day today looking for a Boston car accident lawyer, and think we’ve lined up a good one. Let’s hope my friend will be ok!
Actually, I’ve got to hand it to the guys over at The Shot. I may not always agree with your politics, but your innovation over the past year or so has been impressive. As best I can tell, you’re the only ones on the South Carolina political scene who are integrating the latest in new media into your campaigns and your business. The Twittering of South Carolina politics is particularly cutting edge. Kudos to you, and I hope you get some competition soon!
Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve cranked up the old blog. Suffice it to say my keyboard is a bit rusty! I shut down the Laurinline nearly a year and half ago when I joined the presidential campaign of Barack Obama. This historic race has taken me around the country — from Mobile, Alabama to the Columbus, Ohio to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and back to my beloved Southland. I’ll write more extensively about my campaign experiences someday, but for now I’m opening up this space so I’ll have a place to share a few thoughts, post the occasional YouTube video, and have some fun.
