Awww, shucks
Missed you too, boys!

Actually, I’ve got to hand it to the guys over at The Shot. I may not always agree with your politics, but your innovation over the past year or so has been impressive. As best I can tell, you’re the only ones on the South Carolina political scene who are integrating the latest in new media into your campaigns and your business. The Twittering of South Carolina politics is particularly cutting edge. Kudos to you, and I hope you get some competition soon!

Stars align tonight!
Greetings, Laurinliners! Hope y’all have had the lovely and relaxing Memorial Day that I have. Spent the lunch hour getting my sunburn on at The Salty Nut, and tonight the stars are aligning, when two of my Columbia favorites are intersecting: Danielle Howle is performing at the Rusty Anchor! I’ll be there. Will you?

Hey, y’all!
Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve cranked up the old blog. Suffice it to say my keyboard is a bit rusty! I shut down the Laurinline nearly a year and half ago when I joined the presidential campaign of Barack Obama. This historic race has taken me around the country — from Mobile, Alabama to the Columbus, Ohio to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and back to my beloved Southland. I’ll write more extensively about my campaign experiences someday, but for now I’m opening up this space so I’ll have a place to share a few thoughts, post the occasional YouTube video, and have some fun.
